Data protection

 

Area of applicability

These data protection guidelines apply to all companies of IFN-Holding AG, hereinafter called “IFN” for short. These guidelines come into effect on 25.05.2018 and apply as the minimum standard for processing personal data.

Purpose of data processing

IFN processes personal data of partners, customers and suppliers only for the purpose of conducting its business activities and for the fulfilment of associated statutory and contractual requirements and/or in its own legitimate interest.

Principles of processing personal data

The processing of personal data at IFN is based on strict principles that view the protection and security of data and the rights of those affected (data subjects) as of the highest importance.

LEGALITY & TRANSPARENCY

Data processing is performed in a legal manner and in good faith. When the data are recorded, the data subject is informed of the planned processing (purpose) and how the data will be handled.

LIMITATION OF PURPOSE

Data are recorded and processed for specified, clear and legitimate purposes. The data are not processed in

DATA MINIMISATION

Only the data that are essential to the stated purposes are recorded and processed.

STORAGE LIMITATIONS AND DELETION

Personal data are deleted as soon as the purpose for which they were originally recorded lapses, provided that statutory retention periods do not prevent deletion.

DATA SECURITY

Data secrecy applies to personal data. Data are to be treated as confidential and are protected by appropriate organisational and technical measures from unauthorised access, illegal interference and passing on as well as from loss and destruction.

FACTUAL CORRECTNESS

Personal data are to be correct and complete and kept up to date. Appropriate measures are taken as required to correct incorrect or incomplete data (e.g. upon request by data subjects).

Duty to maintain data secrecy

All employees of IFN and the employees of their contractual partners are contractually obliged to maintain confidentiality and they are regularly instructed and if necessary trained in the secure handling of personal and other critical data.

Data security

The protection of the confidentiality, availability and integrity of data is a major task for IFN. This applies to the same extent to company and business secrets, customer data, personal data and other critical information.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and which allow analysis of your use of the website. Information, for example, on the operating system, the browser, your IP address, the prior website accessed by you (referrer URL) and the date and time of your visit to our website are recorded. The information about the use of our website generated by this text file is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information to assess your use of the website, to put together reports about website activities for the website operators and to provide other services in connection with the use of the website and the internet. Google uses DoubleClick DART cookies

Email security

If you send us an email, your email address is used only for correspondence with you. Please note that there may be gaps in the security in data transfer on the internet. Total protection of data from third party access is not possible.

Data protection coordination

In line with the importance of data protection, IFN has decided to appoint a data protection committee. This is available as a point of contact for data subjects and the Data Protection Authority and it deals with data protection issues within the group of companies. Whistleblowing


On this page, you as an employee, business partner, supplier, customer, or service provider have the opportunity to report observed deviations from the Code of Conduct or similar.
Your report will be treated confidentially and processed in accordance with the EU Directive.
You can submit your concern anonymously, however, this will make processing your case more difficult.
Therefore, we recommend that you provide your contact details.
The external notary will ensure that your request is handled confidentially and - if you wish - anonymously.
